Ingredients

9 cups Chex cereal

1 cup(6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

1/4 cup butter or margarine

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 1/2 cups of powered sugar

1 gallon-size plastic food storage bag

wax paper

Preparation

Measure cereal into large bowl and set aside

Microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter, and margarine in a quart-size microwaveable bowl, uncovered on High for 1 minute; stir. Microwave 30 seconds longer or until mixture stirs smoothly. Stir in vanilla

Pour chocolate mixture over cereal in bowl, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into gallon size plastic food storage bag and add powdered sugar.

Seal bag and shake until cereal is well coated. Spread on wax paper to cool.

Store in airtight container.
