Ingredients
1 c chopped onion
1 c chopped yellow pepper
3 minced garlic cloves
oil
1 1/2 tsp oregano
1 1/2 tsp cumin
2 tsp chili powder
2 cans black beans, drained
2 1/2 cups chopped, cooked turkey
16 oz can pumpkin
1 can diced tomato
3 c chicken broth
Preparation
Saute onions, pepper and garlic in oil till soft. Stir in seasonings, cook 1 minute and add to slow cooker. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover, cook on low 7 hours. If using ground meat, brown first, evaporating all juice.
