Ingredients
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup molasses
1 cup canola oil
4 eggs
2 cups canned pumpkin
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspooon cloves
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup rasins
Preparation
- Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare 2 bread loafs or a bundt pan with oil / flour to prevent sticking.
- Beat the sugar, oil, eggs together in a mixing bowl until combined.
- Mix dry ingredients (flour, spices, baking powder, baking soda) in a separate bowl.
- Stir to combine the dry ingredients with the wet.
- Mix in rasins and / or nuts.
- Pour into pans (fill bread loaf no more than 1/2-3/4 full).
- Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 15min or until it starts pulling loose from sides of pan (toothpick inserted in center comes out clean).
