Ingredients

1 T unsalted butter

1 c pecan halves

1 T maple syrup

1/2 t pumpkin pie spice

1/2 t kosher salt

pinch cayenne

Preparation

Melt butter in large non-stick skillet. Add the nuts, stirring with a wooden spoon for 3 minutes or until they become fragrant. Pour on the maple syrup and stir to combine. Add the spices and salt, and continue to cook, stirring frequently.

Cook another 2-3 minutes, until the nuts are glazed and dark golden. Pour onto foil or parchment paper and allow to cool. They will harden as they cool.
