Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix

2/3 cup sugar

4 eggs

1/2 cup vegetable or canola oil

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp nutmeg

1/4 tsp cloves (ground)

1 16oz can pumpkin

1/4 cup water

confectioner’s sugar (for topping)

chocolate chips (opptional)

pecans or walnuts (opptional)

Preparation

combine all dry ingrediants in a large mixing bowl. Add eggs and stir them into the mixture. Add water and oil. Beat on low speed until well blended. Add pumpkin. Blend on low speed until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips or nuts if you like. Pour into a greased bundt pan and bake at 350 for one hour.

Let cool and sprinkle with confectioner’s sugar and topped with a dollop of whipped cream.
