Ingredients
3/4 c. flour
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 t. baking soda
1/4 t. baking powder
3/4 t. salt
1/2 t. cloves
1/2 t. nutmeg
1/2 t. cinnamon
2 eggs
1/2 c. canola oil
1 c. canned pumpkin
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
1/2 c. chopped dates
Preparation
Blend all but dry ingredients. Add remaining dry ingredients, except nuts and dates and then stir in after blending dry.
Oil and flour pans. Bake in slow 325 degree oven until top springs back when lightly pressed with fingertip or toothpick comes out clean.
