Ingredients
2 slices bacon,cooked and chopped
1/2 small onion, chopped
a few springs of cilantro
1 8oz can tomato sauce
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1 15.5oz can dark red kidney beans
2-3 tbsp Goya sofrito
1/2 packet Sazon
Preparation
- Heat up some olive oil and fry the onion, garlic, and bacon until onion starts turning golden.
- Add cilantro and tomato sauce. Cook stirring until thickened slightly.
- Add beans with the liquid from the can, and the sazon.
- Simmer covered for 30 minutes or so, stirring frequently.
