Ingredients

1/2 cup butter - softened

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup sugar

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp almond extract

1 2/3 cup flour

COCONUTS WREATHS

Same ingredients as above. Just add 1/2 cup coconut with the flour.

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cream butter and salt together. Add sugar and cream well until light and fluffy. Blend in egg, vanilla and almond extracts. Gradually add flour and mix well. Use a cookie press to make desired shapes onto ungreased cookie sheets. Decorate with colored sugars before you bake. Follow all the same instructions adding the coconut to make the coconut wreaths. Use a star tip to make long ropes and shape into circles. Bake for 8-10 minutes. The cookies should be barely golden on bottom.
