Ingredients
2 tbsp olive oil
1 onion sliced thinly
2 lbs potatoes sliced
2 cups heavy cream
1/2 lbs swiss cheese - grated
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Nutmeg - dash
Preparation
Saute onion in olive oil until soft. In a bowl, mix together all ingredients reserving some of the cheese for the topping. Place in a buttered casserole dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 1+ hour. Uncover and cook until browned on top and potatoes are softened.
