Ingredients

4 c. diced potatoes

2 1/2 c. boiling water

3 boullion cubes

1 sm. onion, chopped

3/4 tsp garlic salt

2 c. milk

2 tbsp butter

1/4 tsp pepper

Preparation

Saute onion in soup pot in small amount of oil. Add potatoe, water, boullion, and garlic salt.

Cook about 1/2 hour (test potatoes to make sure they are soft)

Smash the potatoes a couple of time with potatoe smasher. Mixture should be quite thick. Add milk, butter and pepper. Serve
