Ingredients

2 cups chicken broth

4 cups potatoes

1 clove garlic

1 medium onion

2 cups half-and-half

1/4 cup sour cream

1 cup diced ham

Parmesan cheese

Preparation

In a large pot, start chicken broth to boil.

Skin potatoes and cut into small cubes about 1/4 to 1/2 inch. Add to pot.

Dice onion and garlic and ham and add to pot.

Cook at a boil until potatoes are soft and easily mashed (about 15-20 miuntes). Lightly mash about a quarter of the potatoes until desired consistency.

Turn down heat and add half-and-half and sour cream.

Serve topped with Parmesan cheese
