Ingredients

1lb bacon

flour

milk (about a quart)

8 potatoes

Preparation

Peel and chop potatoes into large chunks, then boil until tender.

Meanwhile, chop bacon and cook in large pot until crispy. Add enough flour to soak up oil and become thick paste consistency.

Slowly add milk a cup or two at a time- heat and stir until thickening, then add more until a little thicker than desired consistency.

Add water and potatoes.

Stir and cook a bit longer.
