Ingredients
1 loin of pork joint
palm sugar or dark cane sugar.
2 leeks
1 onion
1 pint dry cider
black pepper
2 desset apples
olive oil
Preparation
roughly chop leeks & onions put in base of pot roast dish. add pork rub with ground black pepper palm sugar and olive oil, place on top of vegetables. pour cider around side of pork. slice apples around the sides. put lid on pot roast. roast for 4-5 hours on low oven 150c pork will fall apart easily when ready, slice into thick slices and serve with the vegetables and the juice in the pot roast.
