Ingredients
2 lbs. cubed pork
1 or 2 chopped onions
1 bay leaf
1 Tablespoon oil
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 cup hominy
1 cup red chili pulp or 4 Tablespoons powder
Preparation
Fry onions in oil, then brown pork. Add hominy, chili, and some salt if desired. Simmer until pork is tender, about 4 hours. Garlic is a wonderful addition.
