Ingredients

1 pound Sweet Italian Sausage meat

2 tblsp olive oil

6oz Portabella - diced 1/2"

3/4 C chopped onion

2 cloves garlic - minced

1 can whole tomatoes - chopped

8oz can tomato sauce

2 tblsp white wine

1 tsp dried basil

1 tsp dried oregano

[1 lb pasta]

Preparation

In large saucepan cook sausage crumbled until done. Remove sausage from pan and drain pan. Heat oil over medium heat. Add mushrooms, onion & garlic. Cook until mushrooms are tender - approx. 5 minutes. Stir in tomatoes, tomatoe sauce, wine, seasonings and sausage. Heat to boiling, reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes. Serve over 1 pound of cooked rigatoni or other large pasta.
