Ingredients
2 Tbs oil
4 pork loin chops 1/2" thick
1 green pepper, cut into strips
2 Tbs flour
1 10.5 oz. can condensed onion soup -OR- 1 envelope onion soup mix and 1 & 1/3 cups water
2 Tbs. Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
2 medium tomatoes, cut into wedges
Preparation
Heat oil in a large skillet. Add chops; brown well on both sides; remove and set aside.
Add green pepper; saute for 3 minutes; remove and set aside.
Stir in flour; cook and stir for one minute.
Blend in next 4 ingredients and bring to boil.
Return chops to skillet; spoon sauce over chops. Cover and simmer until chops are tender, about 45 minutes.
Stir in tomatoes and green pepper. Cover and simmer 5 minutes longer.
