Ingredients
4 boneless pork chops
2-3 med potatoes( or 3/4 lb. red potatoes)
1 can mushroom soup
1/2 soup can water
garlic powder to taste
salt & pepper to taste
2 T. oil
Preparation
pre heat oven to 350 prepare potatoes,( clean red and quarter them, or peal and slice thinly, 1/4 inch, other potatoes) place in the bottom of 2 Qt. casserole dish, season to taste. Dilute soup with 1/2 can of water and pour 1/2 over potatoes.Place in oven, covered.Reserve other half. Season pork chops with garlic powder, salt & pepper and brown them in 2 T oil. Remove potatoes from over and place chops over top of potatoes and pour remaining soup over chops return to oven for 30 minutes uncovered To turn this into a 1 pot meal I will add a can of cut green beens to potatoes.
