Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups white sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup water
4 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
8 ounces canned poppyseed filling
Preparation
Combine liquid ingredients. Add dry ingredients and mix until batter is smooth. Continue to beat well on medium speed for 2 minutes. Bake in UNGREASED tube pan or divide batter into 2 UNGREASED loaf pans. Bake at 350* for 1 hour, 10 minutes (or until done testing with a toothpick). Cool cake before removing from pan.
