Ingredients
1 1/2 cup instant grits
2 T unsalted butter
1/3 cup grated parm
1/4 cup chopped grn onion
4 slices bacon cooked crisp and crumbled
8 eggs
Preparation
In med saucepan, combine 5 1/2 cups water and 1/2 t salt. Bring to boil. Gradually whisk in grits. Cover and cook over low heat, whisking often, until thick and creamy. Stir in butter, cheese, grn onion and bacon. Cook five minutes longer. Add s&p.
Poach eggs. Spoon grits in bowl. Top with eggs.
