Ingredients
1/2 Pound Raisins
1/2 Pound Currants
1/2 Pound Sugar
1/2 Pound Suet (chopped fine)
1 Pound Flour (3 1/2 cups)
3 Eggs Beaten Separately
2 Ounces Citron
1 1/2 Tablespoon Ground Nutmeg
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
Preparation
Mix all to a stiff Batter adding a little milk until consistency is reached. Put into pudding mold or coffee can. Boil in large pan (so that water is up to the top of container but not covering it)gently for 5 hrs. It will also help even out consistency if you sit the can or mold on a trivet with metal feet while cookong.
