Ingredients

1 cup FLOUR

1/2 cup SUGAR

1 tsp BAKING POWDER

pinch of SALT

1/2 cup room temperature BUTTER

1 Egg (room temperature)

1 tbsp of MILK

1 tsp VANILLA

4-5 tsp SUGAR

PLUMS halved (as many as you want)

Preparation

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in LARGE bowl. Add butter in pieces. Mix with a fork (looks like pastery dough). In seperate bowl, blend egg, milk and vanilla. Add wet to dry ingredients. Press into a 9x10 pan, place your plums (or other fruit), sprinkle with sugar and bake at 375 for 45 minutes.
