Ingredients
500 g plain white flour
1/2 tbs fine sea salt
1 tbs dried yeast
1 tbs castor sugar
2 tbs extra virgin olive oil
325 ml warm water
Preparation
Mix together the warm water, yeast & sugar in a glass bowl. Leave in a warm place for the yeast to activate - about 15 minutes.
In a planetary mixer (Kitchen-Aid type) with the dough hook attached, mix together the flour, salt & olive oil.
Add the yeast mix into the mixer bowl, and knead together for at least 5 - 7 minutes, until the dough ball has become shiny & elastic.
Put the dough in a bowl, covered with a damp towel in a warm place for 1 hour for the dough to proove.
Roll out the dough into 2 pizza bases.
