Ingredients
2 pounds beef round steak
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon oil
1 minced garlic clove
1 small pineapple, cut into 1 inch chunks
Preparation
- Cut round steak into 1 inch chunks.
- Prepare marinade by combining brown sugar, teriyaki sauce, lemon juice, oil, and garlic. Add beef chunks. Cover and refrigerate 3-4 hours, stirring occasionally.
- When ready to grill, remove beef from marinade. Thread beef and pineapple alternately on 12 inch metal skewers. (Do not thread skewers until ready to cook.)
- Grill 15 minutes, or until beef is cooked to desired level of doneness, basting occasionally with the marinade, and turning skewers while grilling.
