Ingredients

2 pounds beef round steak

1/4 cup packed light brown sugar

1/4 cup teriyaki sauce

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 tablespoon oil

1 minced garlic clove

1 small pineapple, cut into 1 inch chunks

Preparation

  1. Cut round steak into 1 inch chunks.
  2. Prepare marinade by combining brown sugar, teriyaki sauce, lemon juice, oil, and garlic. Add beef chunks. Cover and refrigerate 3-4 hours, stirring occasionally.
  3. When ready to grill, remove beef from marinade. Thread beef and pineapple alternately on 12 inch metal skewers. (Do not thread skewers until ready to cook.)
  4. Grill 15 minutes, or until beef is cooked to desired level of doneness, basting occasionally with the marinade, and turning skewers while grilling.
