Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
2 cups raw long grain rice
1 quart hot beef or chicken broth
Salt and freshly ground white pepper
Preparation
Melt butter in heavy skillet or saucepan. Sauté the rice, stirring the rice for 5 min or until browned. Add the broth,salt and pepper. Cover the pan with a cloth,then with a lid and simmer without stirring until the rice has absorbed all of the liquid.
