Ingredients
1 lb almond paste
1 lb pignoli
2 cups sugar
4 egg whites - large eggs
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix almond paste, sugar and egg whites in mixer until blended. Roll into balls the size of large marbles and roll in pignoli nuts. Shape into crescent shapes. Place onto cookie sheets lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15 minutes until lightly brown. Cool for 10 minutes before removing and finish cooling on racks
