Ingredients
2 C Flour
2/3 C shortening
some salt (or less)
5T ice water
Preparation
Sift flour and salt into a bowl. Blend in the shortening using a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse bread crumbs. Add 4T of the iced water, if more is needed for consistency add up to 1 tablespoon more. Divide into 2 parts, not equal. One will be larger than the other, but only by about 1/8 or so.
