Ingredients
4 cups of fresh sweet Basil
3 Tbsp olive oil
2 heads of garlic separated and pealed
1 lb butter (must be salted butter), room temperature
1 1/2 cups pine nuts
1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
Preparation
Place fresh basil in a food processor fitted with a metal blade. Turn on and add oil in a steady stream through the feed tube. Add half the garlic and butter and process till smooth. Add remaining garlic and butter and continue to blend. Add pine nuts and cheese, blending till smooth. Garlic may be increased or decreased to suit taste.
