Ingredients

10 medium apples

1 T cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/4 tsp salt

3 T sugar

1 T lemon juice

1/4 cup clarified butter

Crumb Topping: (Toss until crumbly)

1-1/2 cups brown sugar, packed

2-1/2 cups flour

1 cup clarified butter

1/2 tsp salt

3 T cinnamon

1/2 tsp nutmeg

Preparation

Peel core and slice apples. Place in 12 x 7 baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, sugar, lemon juice and butter. Sprinkle crumb topping over apples and bake at 325 degrees for 1-1/4 hours. Serve hot with shipped cream.
