Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
5 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter, chilled and
diced
3/4 cup milk
Preparation
Sift all dry ingredients into a bowl. Cut in butter to a flaky consistency.
Stir in milk until a dough forms. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead lightly. Cut 2" dia. biscuits from 3/4" thick dough.
Bake until golden brown (10 min +/-) in a preheated 425 degree oven.
