Ingredients

2kg pork belly (skin removed)

2 star anise

120mls dark soy sauce

60g of fresh ginger

1 tbsp ground black pepper

For glaze:

6 tbsp dark soya

6 tbsp honey

Preparation

Place pork in medium pot and cover with cold water, star anise, soy, ginger and pepper. Bring to boil, simmer for 2 hours. Preheat oven to 200C Place meat on roasting pan and drizzle with glaze. Place in oven and reduce the heat to 150C after 15 mins. Bake for 1 hour. Serve immediately
