Ingredients

2 Tbs olive oil

1 Tbs butter

1 medium onion finely chopped

1/4 cup finely chopped celery

2 cloves garlic

1 8oz can of tomato sauce

1 6oz can of tomato paste

2 Tbs grated Parmesan cheese

2 Tsp dried oregano

1 tsp dried basil

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp sugar

1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1/4 tsp black pepper

1 small dried bay leaf

Preparation

In a medium sauce pan heat oil and butter. saute onion, celery, and garlic until onion is golden. Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, and all other ingredients. Simmer until thickened, about 15 minutes. Remove bay leaf. Use right away or freeze for up to 3 months.
