Ingredients

1 package active dry yeast (or 1.25 Tsp)

1 c. luke warm water

2 c. white flour

2 tbs olive oil

1 tsp kosher salt

2 tsp sugar

Preparation

In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. Let stand until frothy, ~10 minutes should be good. In a large bowl or Kitchen Aid mixer, combine 2 cups bread flour, olive oil, salt, sugar and the yeast mixture stir well to combine. Knead until a stiff dough has formed. Roll into a ball, cover and let rise until doubled in volume, about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Turn dough out onto a floured surface. Form dough into a round and roll out into a pizza crust shape. Sprinkle with flour while working the dough. Cover with tomato sauce or pesto and pile on your favorite toppings and cheese. Bake until golden brown, about 20 - 25 minutes.
