Ingredients

2 cups flour (all-purpose)

1/2 tsp salt

1 1/2 sticks of unsalted butter

3 T margarine or chilled vegetable shortening

1/4 cup ice water

Preparation

Food Processor Method: Put flour and salt in fp, cut butter and margarine into the flour. Process a few seconds until mixture resembles course meal. Drop by drop add water, processing very briefly. The whole process should take 20 to 30 seconds. Wrap and chill (or freeze).
