Ingredients

2 2/3 c. flour

1 c. unsweetened cocoa

1 Tbs.baking soda

1/2 tsp.salt

1 c. butter or margarine

3 c. firmly packed brown sugar

4 lg. eggs

1 tbsp.vanilla extract

1 1/2 c.sour cream

1 1/3 c. hot water

Preparation

Combine flour cocao, baking soda, salt in med bowl. Beat butter in mixer until creamy Beat in brown sugar, then eggs one at a time, beating well after each egg. Add vanilla. At low speed add dry ingredients alt. with sour cream, beginning and ending w/ dry ingredients. Stir in hot water,beat at low speed just until blended pour into prepared pans. Bake 30-35min.until toothpick comes out clean.
