cups hot instant mashed potatoes (prepared as directed on package)*

beef cube steaks (about 1 lb.)

teaspoon garlic-pepper seasoning

1

cup beef broth

1/4

cup water

1

tablespoon cornstarch

Preparation

Prepare mashed potatoes.

Sprinkle both sides of each cube steak with garlic-pepper seasoning. Spray 12-inch nonstick skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Heat skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add steaks; cook 3 to 4 minutes on each side or to desired doneness. Remove steaks from skillet; cover to keep warm.

In same skillet, combine broth, water and cornstarch; cook until bubbly and thickened, stirring constantly. Serve gravy over cube steaks and hot mashed potatoes.
