Ingredients

8 chicken thighs

1 tsp ginger root

1 tsp garlic

1 tsp salt

1 1⁄2 tsp pepper

150 ml vegetable oil

1 bell pepper, green

150 ml water

Preparation

Prepare the ingredients by chopping the ginger fine, crush the garlic and roughly slice the bell pepper lengthwise.

Combine the ginger, garlic, salt and black pepper in a mixing bowl. Add the chicken pieces and set aside.

Heat oil in a large pan. Add the chicken and fry for 10 minutes.

Reduce the heat and add the green pepper and water.

Simmer for 10 minutes and squeeze some lemon over (optional).
