Ingredients
1½ pounds ground beef, brown
1 can of refried beans (each can is normally 16 oz.)
¼ medium onion, diced
3 cups Monterey Jack cheese, shred
2 cup cheddar cheese, shred
1 package taco mix
¾ cup chunky taco sauce
½ small can diced green chilies
½ teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
Preparation
- Brown meat and diced onion.
- Mix cumin and salt into meat mixture.
- Mix together in separate bowl, jack cheese, beans and taco mix. In a round casserole dish, spoon bean mixture on the bottom.
- Spoon in the meat mixture.
- Add green chilies, cheddar cheese and taco sauce.
- Bake in preheated oven @ 400 for 20 minutes or until hot.
Optional: garnish with sour cream and/or guacamole.
