Ingredients
2 eggs
3c. flour
2c. sugar
1c. oil
1c. buttermilk
2tsp. soda
1tsp. salt
2tsp. vanilla
1/2c. cocoa
1c. hot water
Preparation
Mix 1 cocoa with water then throw it all in one big mixing bowl and mix about 3 minutes. It makes a big cake, either 3 8" layers or 1 10 x 12 pan. If you try to bake it in a 9 x 12 it will run over. You can take a half cup dough out before you bake it if you can’t find a 10 x 12. I bake it in my broiler pan. Bake at 350 for almost an hour. Start checking with a toothpick after about 50 minutes.
