Ingredients

Pie Crust

1 cup whole wheat flour

1/2 cup white flour

dash of salt

1/2 cup butter

Filling

1/2 cup butter

12oz jar of rice syrup

dash of salt

4 eggs, beaten

dash of pure vanilla

5 cups broken pecans

Preparation

make pie crust - i use a rectangle glass baking dish, 10x15"

melt butter in sauce pan, add rice syrup (heat to get out of the jar easily), add salt and vanilla, mix well, add 4 beaten eggs. Pour over pecans in the crust. Bake at 325 for about 50 minutes. Watch it to be certain that you don’t over cook. Enjoy!
