Ingredients

CRUST

3 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup + 2 Tbsp. sugar

3/4 cup soft butter

3/4 tsp. salt

FILLING

4 eggs or eggbeaters

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 1/2 cups Karo

3 Tbsp. butter, melted

1 1/2 tsp vanilla

1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Preparation

Crust: Heat oven to 350. Grease jelly roll pan, 15 1/2x10 1/2x1. Beat flour, sugar, butter and salt in laarge bowl on medium speed until crumbly (mixture will be dry). Press firmly in pan. Bake until light golden brown, about 20 minutes. Prepare filling. Pour over baked layer, spread evenly. Bake until filling is set, about 25 minutes; cool. Cut in squares. Filling: Mix all ingredients, except nuts, until well blended. Stir in pecans.
