Ingredients

1 cup shortening

1 cup powdered sugar

2 cups flour

1 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla

1 Tbsp water

2 cups chopped pecans

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar. Add vanilla and water then add flour, salt and pecans.

Refrigerate for 1 hour. Then shape into balls and cook at 250 for 50-60 mins. Roll in additional powdered sugar and cool.
