Ingredients

6 tablespoons (3/4 stick) unsalted butter

1/4 cup whipping cream

3/4 teaspoon ground cardamom

2 lbs frozen petite peas

Preparation

Melt butter in heavy large pot over medium heat. Add cream and cardamom and cook until crream mixture bubbles and is fragrant, about 4 minutes. Add frozen peas and cook until peas are heated through and lightly coated with cream mixture, stirring occasionally, about 20 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer to bowl and serve.
