Ingredients
1 lb fresh or frozen peas
3 slices of bacon cut into smallish pieces
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 Tbsp AP flour
1/4 cup cider vinegar
2 Tbsp of sugar, more or less to taste
Salt and Pepper to taste
Preparation
Cook peas and drain. Cook bacon and onion in skillet until onion is browned. Remove from with slotted spoon and skillet and set aside. Stir flour into bacon drippings. Add vinegar and sugar, cook until bubbly and thickened, stirring constantly. Taste, adjust seasoning as desired. Stir in peas, bacon and onion. Cook until heated through. Enjoy!
