Ingredients
2 good quality baguettes
1 pear, sliced 1/4 thick
6 oz. gorgonzola wedge, cut into 1/4 slices, (length wise)
2 Tbs truffle oil
1/2 cup honey
2 bunches fresh basil
Preparation
Slice both baguettes length wise down the middle. With the top and bottom together, slice bread into smaller 4’’ pieces to make sandwiches.
Combine honey and truffle oil and stir well. Lightly spread truffled honey onto bread.
Top with 1 slice of gorgozola, 2 slices of pear and 2 torn leaves of basil, serve as sandwich.
*You can place a toothpick through one basil leaf on top of the sandwich for garnish.
