Ingredients
3 C oats, uncooked
1 1/2 C all purpose flour
1/2 tsp soda
3/4 C butter softened
1 C peanut butter
1 1/2 C packed brown sugar
1/3 C water
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
Preparation
In medium bowl, combine oats, flour & soda. In large bowl beat together butter, peanut butter & sugar until light & fluffy. Blend in water, egg & vanilla. Add dry ingreds; mix well. Chill dough 1 hr. Heat oven to 350 F. Shape to form 1 inch balls, place on ungreased sheet. Flatten with fork dipped in granulated sugar to form crisscross patterns. Bake 9-10 mins or til edges are golden brown. Cool 1 min on sheet, remove to wire rack.
